Below are a few screenshots from a few of the different functions built into the product.

The above screen show GroupAdmins main interface, in the upper left part you select the domain or server that you are currently working with. The upper grouplist show the local groups on that server or domain and the members of that group, the lower list show the included global groups and the users within those groups. Adding and deleting multiple users from a group is just a click away.

The functionbuttons in the upper left part are also related to the selected domain or server, the buttons let you manage users, groups, copy local groups between servers, manage shares and view general information about a specific server. In the right area of the main interface is a user property area giving you instant access to the properties for a selected user.

In many windows networks where both WINS and DNS are used for there are sometimes problems which might be hard to find related to name resolution. There might be mismatches between WINS servers. DNS servers might contain different data for the same host entry and so on.

This tool has been asked for from many users. Now you have a tool to query one or several DNS or WINS servers in your network at the same time to verify that all registered entries are correct. You can query the WINS servers for all possible types of records, the same goes for DNS servers. The type of records queried for is selected in the dropdown box in the respective section.

The process tree feature is a window which presents all active processes running on the selected computer. The upper part presents the process tree, which displays the process hierarchy. The Process list in the middle of the screen present data about the process you select either in the list or in the process tree. If you select a process in the process list you will retrieve a list of all files which are loaded in that specific process. These files are presented in the lower Loaded Files list.

The ability to generate extensive reports of computers and servers in you network is now available. In the upper left list you can select to view all domains detected on your network or only the domains which you manage using GroupAdmin. The computerlist in the lower left is populated with either your GroupAdmin managed computers or all computers in the domain you select in the domainlist.

You can choose to generate one reportfile for each computer or to create one large consolidated report. The consolidated report is very useful to get an overview of the machines on your network. Two different formats of the reportfile are available, the standard format is easy to overview and  the CSV format is comma separated - useful when importing the reportfiles to other applications such as Microsoft Excel.

A very useful function of GroupAdmin is the ability to create reports of a selected group. Just select the group you want a report of from the main screen, click on the reportbutton, specify what you want to include in the report and press start. The reports are generated as nicely formatted textfiles.

The "Local Group Copy" tool is very handy to have available. In many cases you find yourself in a situation where you need to copy a local group from one server to another. This tool makes is extremely to achieve this and more. You also have the option to synchronize groups to make sure that two groups on different servers are identical.

The share management interface makes it easy to handle shares on the servers in your network. Create / Delete / Edit the properties of the shares. If you doubleclick a share in the list you will be able to browse the share using the explorer interface.

The system information screen presents a very valuable summary of the server or computers function and services in you network environment.

Groups are created and deleted from this screen for the selected domain or on the selected server for local groups. The properties for the selected group can be updated and if the groups are places in an Active Directory tree in native mode they can be converted from one grouptype to another

The service management interface lets you easily handle services installed on your servers. The standard operations for services are available. The parameters related to the selected service are presented in the lower part of the screen available for you to update and change if necessary.

Adding users to groups is done easily in this dialog box. Users can be either selected from registered domains or pasted directly into the right listbox. The users can be either row or semicolon separated. LDAP and usersearch are easily available as toolbuttons in the lower right of the screen.
